I bought these shoes for my 8 year old nephew....he had them on less than 5 minutes after he opened them. They are pretty good looking shoes, not a bulky as the original Heelys were. Lots of styles and colors to choose from. The wheels are easily removed and inserted. The school that my nephew attends does not allow wheeled shoes on campus, so it is great that he can pop out the wheels, insert the cover plate and not be in trouble.
I can't really tell you anything about the comfort, the reliability, or the usefulness of the shoe...but as far as making my present very well recieved....they fully obtained that requirement. more details

The Heely's are great fitting shoes, very comfortable. I was expecting the heel to be hard to support the wheel, and that is true. But it's well padded by the insole so it's a comfortable walking shoe. They remind me of wearing a great fitting pair hiking boots but look a LOT better! They are heavy so don't plan on wearing them for long walks unless you plan to put the wheels in during your outing. Even if I don't master the art of Heelying I'll have a pair of very good shoes. more details

this was my first purchase with Amazon, and I have nothing but great things to report. I ordered these heelys about a week before Christmas not expecting to receive delivery until after the holiday. I actually arrived about three days after, Great!! My stepson was very surprised on Christmas day. I would definately use amazon for future purchases. more details
